Hollow Core (GEOM:HOL)
Hollow Core is a geometry where the periphery (Guardian structures) is hard and developed, but the Center (Self/Nucleus) is absent or underdeveloped.
Phenomenology
- Imposter Syndrome: “If they knew who I really was, they’d leave.”
- Performative Life: High functioning externally, empty internally.
- Collapse Risk: If the shell cracks, there is nothing inside to hold the structure.
- Identity Diffusion: Chameleonic adaptation to environment.
Mechanism
- Often results from WOUND:OPTIMIZATION or WOUND:ATTACHMENT (Swarm type).
- The person learned to be a defense mechanism (e.g., The Achiever) rather than developing a Self.
Healing
- Priority: Nucleation. You must build a center before you can safely dismantle the shell.
- Method: Connection to Ground Virtues (Integrity, Fidelity).
- Warning: Do not strip defenses (soften Armor) until a Nucleus exists.
