Ground and Meta

This cluster contains the Foundational virtues (pre-requisites for the system) and the Meta-Virtues (which operate on the system itself).

The Ground (Layer 0)

These are the structural necessities for any navigation to occur.

• [0.3] WITN (Witness): Pure awareness; the screen upon which the movie plays.
• [1.1] INT (Integrity): Coherence; the structural unity of the self.
• [1.2] FID (Fidelity): Consistency over time; keeping faith with self and others.
• [2.3] RES (Resilience): The capacity to recover form after disruption; elasticity.

The Meta (Layer 4)

These are the “System Operators” that guide development and integration.

• [0.1] REFL (Reflexivity): Self-awareness; the ability to look at the self rather than through it.
• [7.3] PRAC (Phronesis/Practical Wisdom): The master regulator; knowing which virtue is needed in a specific context.
• [7.7] INTW (Integral Wisdom): The synthesis of all perspectives; holding the whole.
• [7.8] SELFC (Self-Cultivation): The deliberate practice of shaping one’s own character.
• [0.2] CULT (Translation): The ability to bridge between different value systems and languages.
