Navigator Audit
The Navigator Audit assesses the functional capacity of the agent (Self) to conduct the work. It determines whether the client is “online” or “blended.”
Purpose
To ensure the vehicle is road-worthy before starting the journey. Attempting descent with a collapsed Navigator leads to re-traumatization (Capture).
The 8 C’s Check
Based on IFS “Self Energy.” The presence of these qualities indicates the Navigator is intact.
- Calm: Regulated nervous system?
- Clarity: Seeing the situation accurately?
- Curiosity: Interested in the symptom rather than hating it?
- Compassion: Warmth toward the wounded parts?
- Confidence: Trust in the process?
- Courage: Willingness to approach pain?
- Creativity: Ability to see new options?
- Connectedness: Felt sense of relationship?
Threshold: If fewer than 5 are present, or if there is active hostility/fear toward the symptom, the Navigator is Blended. Run Unblending Protocol.
