Gatekeeper Protocol

This protocol is used when Mysterium ($\Omega$) is blocked—the “Sealed Vessel” state. The client cannot receive help, compliments, or grace.

Diagnosis

• Anti-$\Omega$:Defended: “I’ll handle it myself.”
• Anti-$\Omega$:Collapsed: “Save me” (Passive waiting, not active receiving).
• Anti-$\Omega$:Demanding: “I earned this.”

The Sequence

1. Identify the Gatekeeper

Locate the part that is blocking the input. It is usually a Manager protecting against the pain of disappointment or betrayal.

2. Validate the Fear

Ask: “What are you afraid would happen if we let this kindness/help in?”

• Common Answer: “We’ll be tricked,” “We’ll be weak,” “It will go away and we’ll be crushed.”

3. Locate the Exile

The Gatekeeper is protecting a specific wound (usually WOUND:ATTACHMENT or WOUND:TRUST). Identify this exile.

4. Heal the Exile (Double Retrieval)

Perform Double Retrieval on the underlying wound.

5. Update the Gatekeeper

Invite the Gatekeeper to become a Filter or Valve rather than a Wall.

• New Role: “Discern what is safe to let in, and let it in.”

6. Micro-Receiving Test

Practice receiving a very small thing (a breath, a moment of silence, a sincere word) to test the new capacity.
